— Posted under Blog on November 26, 2008

Security Law Brief, run by the Georgetown Center on National Security and the Law, is hosting a blog symposium on closing Guantanamo, and the significance of Judge Leon’s decision last week in Boumediene.

They kicked things off today with a post titled “Definitions Matter: An Early Reaction To Judge Leon’s Boumediene Decision” by Stephen Vladeck, Associate Professor at American University Washington College of Law, which has started what is certain to be an interesting debate on the current and weighty legal issues surrounding Guantanamo.
