Can judges and juries win the war on terror?

— Posted under Blog, Law, Terrorism on August 3, 2008

On magazine racks tomorrow, and available now on-line is my review of Law and the Long War, a new book by Ben Wittes of The Brookings Institution.

I won’t give away too much of the review (subscription necessary), but in short I found Ben’s work to be a great summary of the major issues (terrorism detention and trials, interrogation and torture, and surveillance) the nation faces as it grapples with the threat of terrorism.
